Are we brainwashed into thinking there is no cure?

I went to a function today, started talking to people, and I soon found myself seated next to a middle-aged man who mentioned that he was a homebuilder. In talking to this man, I mentioned the threat of global warming, and how we can work together to reverse the damages and preserve our planets precious resources. He scoffed at what I was saying, and proceded to tell me Earth's fate was already sealed and it was hopeless to try to halt the current rate of destruction that already exists. I couldn't believe what I was hearing!! His pessimism was contagious, and I soon found myself defending scientific facts to numerous people who have been brainwashed by the current media. These poor lost souls need to stop sleepwalking through life and become aware of what's really happening around them.

Everyone has to be responsible for his actions, and start giving back something of value. And when I meet people who have yet to see the light, it makes me rededicate myself to work harder to help inspire them and have them make the right decisions to help preserve our planet for future generations. It's not to late. It's never too late. And don't give up on people who have yet to become environmentally enlightened, as they will soon see the green revolution that's happening all around them. We are the generation who found its way.

Saving our Planet

I'm always asking the question, " Why do some of us hear so loud what others fail to hear at all?" Once people wake up and become enlightened with what's happening all around them, they will begin to act in a responsible manner. What echo's through eternity are not the nuances of everyday life, but they are things that matter and have value. Everyday we are faced with choices, and now we have to make the biggest decision of our life; the decision to continue to be a supporter of rampant consumerism, or the decision to help save our planet. One of my greatest heroes, Martin Luther King, once said ,"If a man won't die for what he believes in, he isn't fit to live." These are the words that earth warriors live by. And defending our earth is the greatest honor we can attain here on earth. People, we need to wake up and be the generation that found it's way.

When we look our children in the eye, we need to assure them we are going to do everything possible to make the world they inherit a better place than the one we inherited from our parents. We need to teach our children how to preserve and respect the beautiful natural surroundings around us. It's essential we change our user ways and adopt a life of sustainibly and sensibility. Our future depends on what we do now. I've always believed one can change their life 180 degrees in a spontaneous moment, and that moment is now. Never before has our beloved earth been under such an assault for her precious resources, and never before has an army of earth defenders
assembled to battle on earth's behalf. Vow to defend our planet until the day we achieve victory. up and start understanding and doing something about it? Why is there so much denial?"
